This set from LEGO Education includes everything you need to develop skills in design, construction, engineering, coding and communication. Pupils can use the LEGO bricks included to build imaginative models that can then be brought to life by coding the Intelligent Brick (included). The Intelligent Brick from LEGO Education is the brain of LEGO MINDSTORMS creations. Students can program the brick to use information from input sensors to control the movement of the model it is attached to. As is to be expected from LEGO, the possibilities are endless. If your pupils can think it up, you can create it using LEGO MINDSTORMS Education EV3 Core Set. Students can program their models wirelessly using the EV3 Software or EV3 Programming app. Both are designed using Python – a real-life programming language which helps to prepare pupils for future careers in coding. The EV3 Software and app are an intuitive drag-and-drop style of coding making them perfect for beginner coders. More experienced coders can use Scratch to code their models.
